Christie Organizes a Benefit for
United Cerebral Palsy of MetroBoston
with Pat McGee Band and Adam Ezra
If you know Christie, you've heard her talk about her sister Candice, who has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. The two are very close and share an indescribable bond. Candice loves music and Christie routinely takes her to handicapped-accessible venues like Harpers Ferry and Paradise Lounge. On February 16th, Christie will host a Benefit for United Cerebral Palsy of MetroBoston at Harpers Ferry. Play Legendary Indian Ranch
On July 10th, Christie Leigh and her band The Crooked Hearts, will play at the legendary Indian Ranch in Webster, MA. The huge stage at this outdoor country music venue has been graced with the likes of Loretta Lynn, Faith Hill, Leann Rimes, Tim McGraw and many other greats. Chosen from 25,000 Songs in
American Idol Songwriter Contest
Christie Leigh's single "When You Need a Moment" was recently chosen by American Idol and 19 Entertainment as a Top 20 finalist in their Songwriter Contest. The song was chosen from 25,000 entries and is now posted at www.americanidol.com for listeners to vote on. The winning song will be sung by the American Idol winner on the final episode of the season.

Christie Finds Success in Southern Cali
Christie returned to her roots last week, as she played to packed houses in San Diego and LA. Southern California was where Christie first started performing live - street performing to survive while interning without pay at a record label. Many thanks to all the friends and fans who came out to the shows at Blind Melons in San Diego and Molly Malones in LA. A return trip is in the works for this summer.
